A Quadriga is a chariot pulled by four horses, yet this collection of statues is in fact a copy of the original statues which were stolen by Napoleon form Austria, but after the Battle of Waterloo which was lost the statues were returned but was soon replaced by a copy of the same statues to fill the space.
