Dotted throughout Paris you can find many Velib stations near many points of interest or shops you may want to visit, and all Velib bikes are recognisable with their same design as well as being unisex for all to use.

Love the idea of using shared bike to explore big cities! I was too afraid to try them out while I was in Paris (the traffic seemed too heavy & it was cold!) but will definitely consider it next time. A bike ride near the Seine sounds lovely. Great picture!
